ART Adherence Bibliography

The ART Adherence Bibliography has been developed by the Harvard Medical School’s Drug Policy Research Group, an INRUD-IAA partner, and currently includes over 400 articles published up to June 30, 2009, all specifically related to the adherence to antiretroviral therapy.

It is particularly helpful for those working in the field of adherence to ART in Africa since it provides articles on –

  • Results of interventions undertaken in African countries at the patient or community level to strengthen ART adherence.
  • Study of determinants of adherence on standardizing measurement.
  • Results of African clinical studies in which the main focus was efficacy or safety of ARV medications and in which adherence was measured as a potential factor.
The ART Adherence Bibliography will be updated every six months. Submission of materials for potential addition to the database is always welcome.
